Curtain Bluff is an all inclusive hotel, so all meals and drinks and alcoholic beverages by the glass are included in your room rate. On check-in you will be required to provide a credit card to pre-authorize a $200 per day fee for possible incidental charges. Room charges not pre-paid will also be held as pre-authorization on check-in.

If you have a 7 night booking for one room and have fully pre-paid for your room, the pre-authorization will be $1,400.00

If you have a 7 night booking for one room and have only paid your room deposit, the pre-authorization will be $1,400.00 PLUS the remaining room balance.

This will be used to cover any outstanding balance on your room, and any room charges during your stay. Room charges may be done for private dinners, spa treatments, hotel gift shop / tennis shop/ spa shop purchases, tennis lessons, PADI lessons, wine by the bottle from our cellar, taxis, or excursions

Any amounts not deducted via room charges will be released back to your credit card within one business day.
To ease and hasten your time in customs and immigration please have a copy of your negative Covid-19 PCR test, your proof of vaccination, and download and print and fill out where appropriate these two items. Having these at hand and completed will be very useful.

Testing can be done in the privacy of your room. Our house doctor will administer swabbing for both Rapid and PCR testing. Rapid test results are available within 30 minutes. PCR test results between 48 and 72 hours of testing from the hospital lab.

Located on the northeast corner of Antigua just a half hour from the resort, V.C. Bird International Airport is the point of entry for visitors arriving by air. The airport is served by daily nonstop flights from the U.S., direct flights via San Juan and St. Martin, and several weekly flights from Europe. Flying times: New York: 4 hrs.; Miami: 3 hrs.; Baltimore: 4 hrs.; Toronto: 4.5 hrs.; Puerto Rico: 1 hr.; London: 8 hrs.; Frankfurt: 9 1/4 hrs.; Paris: 8 hrs.
No. Tipping is discouraged as we feel it would compromise our famously friendly atmosphere. Instead, a service charge of 10% is added to your bill at the end of your stay. If, however, you would like to further reward our staff, please consider making a tax-free contribution to the Old Road Fund, our nonprofit foundation that benefits the local town, Old Road, and its worthiest causes.
We like to describe the atmosphere at Curtain Bluff as ‘casual elegance.’ Shorts, shirts, and cover-ups are recommended for breakfast at the Tamarind restaurant and lunch at the Seagrape. For dinner service, some guests like to dress to the nines, but it’s not a requirement. At a minimum, we ask gentlemen to wear long pants (trousers) and a collared shirt at Tamarind Restaurant and dress shorts and a collared shirt at Seagrape Restaurant. In summer (June 1st onward), children under 12 are permitted to wear smart shorts and polos in the Tamarind Restaurant.
High-speed WiFi is available in all rooms and the library. There are two dedicated media rooms with a total of five computers, free Internet access, and phones, plus a sitting area and wide-screen televisions with DVD players, cable and dish networks. Please note that at the request of our guests, there are no TVs in the rooms.
We love welcoming young guests and have developed most of the resort’s programming with families in mind. We’re happy to accommodate your preferred sleeping arrangements, like children sharing a room, as well as catering to any special dietary needs or preferences. All of our activities are child-friendly and babysitters are available for hire. Our TV/games room is a great spot for our younger guests to gather, play computer games, and browse the internet.
Yes. Every menu has a wide selection of non-meat options ranging from delicious salads to fresh-caught fish. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, we’ll make every effort to prepare a dish of your choosing.
Checkout time is 12:00 noon. Any departures leaving the property after 3:30 pm will be assessed a $150 per adult late stay facility charge which covers food and beverages for the day.
We suggest one of our ground-floor deluxe rooms or junior suites.
e typically close between August and October. In 2022, we will be closing July 31st, and reopen to guests on October 22nd.
We strongly discourage the use of any items that may compromise the comfort or security of your fellow guests; drones are therefore not permitted on the property.

No. This issue is troubling to portions of the island, however it is localized on the north and east sides. Curtain Bluff, which is on the island’s south side, has not been impacted.
