Many of you are familiar with our Old Road Fund, the resort’s non-profit program that has been giving back to the local community for over 40 years. Supported both by the resort and guests, the fund has so far spent over $1 million on healthcare, scholarships, youth sports, and job training.

Its latest beneficiary is Dorielle, a young Antiguan girl who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor. Fortunately, the operation was a success, Dorielle is now back home, and on the mend.

Calling all tennis players! It’s not too late to sign up for our next tennis retreat: Antigua Tennis Week (May 4-11). All levels of player are welcome. Last year’s team is pictured here along with the celebrity hosts: Fred Stolle, Owen Davidson and Ross Case.

To get a better idea, watch the video of last year’s Tennis Challenge.

Nothing is better than a home-town wedding, right?

Well…a resort wedding is a lot less stressed (an entire staff is there to look after you). It’s also more fun (did someone say beach, spa, and watersports?). And the celebration goes for days after the ceremony and reception.

These advantages are particularly evident at Curtain Bluff, where creative, customized and all-out extraordinary weddings are a specialty. Click here for details or watch the video.

How does your garden grow? To find out the answer, speak to Ezra, Curtain Bluff’s head gardener for the past 23 years.

He got his start in the gardening business the old-fashioned way: working on his parents’ farm, growing vegetables and fruits to sell in the town of Old Road, just outside the resort’s gates. The rest of his encyclopedic knowledge, especially as it relates to decorative plants and palms, has grown organically over the years. The end result is green magic.
