On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays our experienced aqua-aerobics instructor, Marlene, leads hour-long classes in our swimming pool.
Join our expert instructor on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays for some Sun Salutations and Downward-facing Dogs on a peaceful, open-air deck overlooking the sea.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, stretch the core and tighten the abs by doing some stimulating Pilates exercises on that same deck overlooking the sea.
Jason, our personal fitness trainer will take you on a power walk every Tuesday and Thursday morning through the village. Perfect early morning workout to jump start your fitness routine for the day.
Our three resident pros — Rennie, Nigel and Dillo — are trained in the U.S. to teach aptitudes right up to 5.5 (nearly a pro) and ready at 7:00 AM to take a guest’s challenge, pair guests together for a game, or work on that backhand. Private lessons cost $US 70 per hour. Their enthusiasm and gentle manner is one of the reasons that many of our guests call our tennis program the best in the region.
Every Tuesday morning our Executive Chef, Christophe Blatz lead hands-on cooking classes (limited to 10 people or less). Explaining such culinary creations as lobster risotto or red snapper on a bed of local vegetables in a light reduction broth, the classes cost $US 70 and include lunch and a specially selected bottle of wine from our cellar.
Curtain Bluff has one of the finest wine cellars in the Caribbean, with over 25,000 bottles priced between $US 40 and $US 2,000. Over the past year we have expanded our subterranean cellar and added a tasting area so guests can enjoy the wines in context. Tastings take place in the cellar on Friday afternoons ($US 70 per person).
